Yahoo! Contacts for iOS
I was the lead designer of Yahoo! Contacts for iOS. Taking advantage of HTML5 and CSS 3, it featured subtle animation for certain actions, cache manifest for offline use, and consistent layout among iOS devices. I worked directly with a product manager, 4 engineers, and 2 QEs to achieve optimal user experience. Highlights:
- Contact card slides contextually, depending on its location in the list.
- Selecting multiple contacts lays the contact cards on top of the stack.
- The single code layout allows consistent appearance in any iOS devices and orientations, and can be adopted easily for other platforms.
